Fallon Sherrock and Beau Greaves were among the high-profile names who failed to earn a PDC Tour Card at Q-School in Milton Keynes on Sunday.

Sherrock fell to a second-round 6-1 defeat at the hands of James Beeton as her final opportunity to secure access to PDC tournaments for the next two years passed her by.

Greaves fared a little better than Sherrock, thrashing Ted Evetts 6-0 in the second round, before a tightly contested 6-5 defeat to Carl Sneyd saw her eliminated.

Simon Whitlock, World Championship runner-up in 2010, suffered a similar fate, with his hopes of securing a Tour Card dashed by a 6-3 defeat to Tom Sykes in the first round.

Former world No 4 Mervyn King and three-time world senior darts major winner John Henderson also failed to secure Tour Cards.

Jim Long and Maik Kuivenhoven secured their Tour Cards as outright winners on Sunday, with a further 21 cards secured on points as 2025 Q-School came to a close.

Alongside Long and the already confirmed winners of Tom Bissell, Justin Hood and Tavis Dudeney, nine more players joined the quartet from the UK Q School Order of Merit in Bradley Brooks, Darryl Pilgrim, Greg Ritchie, Adam Lipscombe, Adam Paxton, Cam Crabtree, Adam Warner, Andy Boulton and Thomas Lovely.
